Terms of Service

Version 1.0. These starter terms are intended for internal review until a formal legal version is finalized.

1. Service overview

TurnMeOff.ai provides registry issuance, public verification, status management, tenant controls, and revocation tools for AI agents, bots, automations, and related software identities.

2. Eligibility and authority

You may only register, manage, suspend, revoke, or otherwise control an agent if you are authorized by the applicable tenant, operator, or organization responsible for that agent.

3. Acceptable use

  • Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent registry information.
  • Do not attempt to bypass tenant restrictions, authentication controls, or kill-switch logic.
  • Do not use the platform to facilitate unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful conduct.
  • Do not interfere with service operations, monitoring, or other authorized users.

4. Public verification

Public TMID verification is intended to help others evaluate whether an AI agent is registered and currently allowed to operate. Verification results are informational and should be combined with your own risk, compliance, and security controls.

5. Suspension and revocation

TurnMeOff.ai may support suspension, revocation, and API-access disablement by authorized operators or tenants. Once disabled, an agent may lose the ability to obtain or maintain operating credentials in connected systems.

6. No warranty

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or universal third-party enforcement of verification outcomes.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, TurnMeOff.ai and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, business opportunity, or goodwill arising from use of the service.

8. Changes to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including verification workflows, tenant controls, and admin access methods.

9. Governing rules

These terms should be replaced with counsel-reviewed legal language before public launch or broad commercial deployment. Until then, use of the platform is subject to internal approval and operational review.
